GN pan styles
There are two main types of GN pans – American and European. They come in standard sizes, but their design follows the standards that have been accepted in USA and Europe for many years now! The choice of style is mainly influenced by how popular American or European-style gas pans are among end consumers in your country.
European style
The side walls have a slight slope and have special stiffeners. They are designed to prevent stucking, known as “anti-jamming design.” This anti-jam design helps prevent pans from sticking together when stored. It maximizes storage space and saves your time and effort trying desperately to get them unstuck again!
American style
The American style has a straight wall, and don’t have stiffeners. It is a classic and simpler design but easier to clean.
